Inkless Tales
Recommendation:
This site contains a little of this and a little of that. It is all coordinated, well illustrated/animated and appealing. The homepage is a bit congested with the author´s wide range of interests. There are good pieces here, though, to utilize with children. Many of the stories and the tongue twisters contain audio. Pages for teachers (grownups) are `in the works.´
Description:
Inkless Tales shares one writer/illustrator´s clever ideas. View stories online, find poems, games and literature with a mathematical theme. View an animated alphabet, try some tongue twisters, print pages for coloring (or color online!) or print games to play.
Possible uses:
Teachers can find stories to share with students or share with an entire class via a projector. Students can try their hand at some of the games or try the tongue twisters. The animated alphabet can be shared with the class in its entirety or just share the page for the letter of the day. This site can be pulled up during station time at the computer for students. Teachers can sign up to receive the newsletter.
